The Hope Way – being brilliant at the basics

Our foundations are newly but firmly planted

Hope Healthcare Group

Our journey into healthcare

We began our journey into healthcare with a blank canvas and an open mind. After hours interviewing industry experts and feedback from care workers, advisors, consultants and CEOs, we saw an opportunity to help repair a broken system.

Over the past decade, the care industry has ceased to function in a manner conducive to the wellbeing of its patients.

Our research has highlighted four key failures on the part of providers that continue to plague the care system:

  • Excessive Fees
  • Unpaid Staff
  • Inadequate Properties
  • Lack of Education
The Hope Healthcare Difference
Well paid staff
Sensible fees
Focus on education & training

Hope Healthcare Group

The 'Hope' Difference

We want to inject care back into the business plan. We want to make residents the focal point again. Only in this way can we effect real, meaningful change for those who need it most.

Fee Rates

  • We do not believe that providers should dictate fee rates to local authorities. In all aspects, we will work with the CQC and key stakeholders as partners, not adversaries.
  • We will invite local authorities and CQC representatives to discuss and agree upon reasonable and appropriate fee ranges for patients.
  • As patients progress and embark on the step-down phase of their plan and care dependence decreases, we will reduce fee rates accordingly.

Staff

  • We understand the central role that care staff play in the development of our patients. For this reason, all employees can expect to receive a compensation package in excess of national minimum wage standards.
  • We view our staff as genuine stakeholders in our business. To this end, we offer all Hope employees access to our equity participation scheme wherein staff can also enjoy the success of the business.
  • Our staff incentives will never be profit-based. Instead, any staff reward will be measured based on the overall rating of each home. In this way we can ensure that the highest quality of care is being promoted at all times.

Properties

  • All homes will be equipped to meet the needs of residents and be subjected to stringent criteria.
  • All homes will meet the legislative and regulatory standards and have safeguards in place to ensure that all health & safety regulations are being adhered to.
  • We will engage the services of an independent auditor who will undertake routine inspections on all homes within the Group and report back to the Board at regular intervals.

Education

  • We actively recruit highly qualified staff who have clinical research or therapeutic-based experience to provide a holistic approach to care.
  • We will always encourage staff to undertake additional training courses to ensure they are providing the best standard of care.
  • We will contribute towards fees for any staff who wish to undertake further education or qualifications on a part-time basis alongside their work.

We want to deliver maximum value to our residents

We believe in the intrinsic ability of our residents to become the best versions of themselves regardless of their specific clinical challenges.
